Here it is the end of the Thanksgiving holiday. I learned a lot about what people are writing in blogs even though I have known they exist for many years. In my school district, we are having a discussion of whether or not we should filter out blogs. With Web 2.0, it seems like if we go down this road, we will "filter out" all collaborative tools both now and into the future.

Well, it is now November 10. As you can see, not much has been added. I'm working on a workshop for the CSLA Conference - www.schoollibrary.org.
One is about being information literate in the digital age. The other is about learning objects. I need to check these links. My daughter, Brittany, is working on her online algebra work.
I fly to the conference this afternoon down in Ontario, California.

This is the first day of my blog. I'm working on this to see how it may or may not work in our online English course.
